Jencol Engineering is situated on the outskirts of Cambridge which is one of the main centres of hi-tech manufacturing in the UK. The company is well established and family run with over 30 years experience of Precision Machining in the engineering industry.
Jencol Engineering comprises of 5 staff and operates as a family run business. From design, through prototype to completion, we can offer a complete service to match the customers’ requirements. We pride ourselves on our level of customer care. Each product is quality checked before despatch to ensure our high standards are adhered to. A large proportion of our turnover is as a result of referrals by existing customers. We are constantly improving the skill levels of all staff to ensure the latest techniques and manufacturing methods are available. We run Apprenticeship schemes and pride ourselves on our loyal and longstanding workforce.
MEET THE TEAM
Paul Jenner, as Director of the company, has over 20 years experience of precision machining. He has come up through the ranks from apprentice to his current position. In the process, he has won many awards including Apprentice of the Year from West Anglia Training and Best Machinist of his year at Cambridge Regional College. Paul also checks all goods to comply with our Quality Control standards and health and safety.
Rhyse Plummer-Coles, our Production Manager, has come up through the ranks from apprentice to his current position. In the process, he has won many awards through West Anglia Training and gaining distinctions with all his qualifications. Rhyse is highly trained on every machine in the work shop. He has been with Jencol for over 15 years giving a wealth of experience in Engineering.
Nathan Jenner, Precision Machinist who has completed his Apprenticeship and is now an essential part of the team and also happens to be the nephew of Paul.
Last (but not least!), Donna Dunster, Office Manager keeps all the paper work (and the workforce) in order. She helps with ordering, processing of invoices, quotations and Customer Care.
Craig Webb, Precision Machinist, he has only been with us a short time but has learnt a lot and is an important part of the team.
